Curious, if all life is vaporized by the firestorm and the planet becomes uninhabitable after 1 day and this has happened more than once to our Earth already… where did all the animals and plants come from?

MrLee, the metoer there is 500km across. The meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs was only like 7 km across… or something like that. Either way it was a hell of a lot smaller than the one depicted in the video and thus the catastrophe would have been far smaller.
Furthermore, the Earth was hit with numerous meteors when the solar system was first formed because there were heaps of rocks that were just flying all over the place. Basically, the massive Pluto sized meteors that collided with the earth did so before any life was present
